Obituary

Lucille F. Fleitz, 92, of Oregon, OH passed away Wednesday, April 6, 2005 in Orchard Villa. She was born in Toledo on May 31, 1912 to Charles and Anna (Brick) Irving. Lucille was an original member of St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church and the Altar Rosary Society, the Ladies Auxiliary of Dunberger Post #537, and the LCBA. Everyone knew her as Aunt Lou, and her special joy in life was to cook for family and friends. Since December 2003, Lou honored Ken, Kay and Mike Kochczynski and Sue, Dan and Jennifer Lapointe by residing with them and they survive. Other survivors include Betty Mangas, Maryann Baerkirtcher and a host of other nieces and nephews. Lucille was preceded in death by her husband of 63 yrs, Lawrence; parents; brothers, Edward, Lawrence, twin brother, Louis Irving and sister, Rosemary Kochczynski. Friends and family may visit at the Eggleston Meinert Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road at Starr Ave. on Friday, April 15, 2005 from 2-9 p.m. with a scripture service at 7 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday in St. Thomas Aquinas Church at 11:00 a.m. where the family and friends are invited to gather after 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please send contributions to the Orchard Villa Recreational Therapy Department for the purchase of an aquarium in Lous name.
