Lucille M. Olinger, 90, of Northwood, Ohio, passed away Sunday, March 24, 2013 surrounded by her loving family. Lucille was born in Toledo, Ohio on September 1, 1922 to Henry and Martha (May) Gabel. On February 13, 1941she married Raymond L. Olinger. Lucille was a 1940 graduate of Waite High School and was employed as a Librarian with Toledo Public Schools for many years. She was a member of VFW Post 2984 Ladies Auxiliary and Oakdale United Methodist Church. Lucille enjoyed spending time at the Oregon Senior Center and was an avid gardener. Her true passion was spending time with her children and grandchildren. Lucille is survived by her children; Ross (Gretchen) Olinger, Chris (Marie) Olinger, and Jeffrey (Patty) Olinger; grandchildren, Ray, Katie, Mandy, Kelly, Brooke, Dana, Olivia, Jonathan, Joe, Cristina, and Nikole along with 20 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband; great-grandson, Christian; and brother, Edward Gabel. Friends may call at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road on Wednesday, March 27th from 2:00-8:00 pm. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, March 28th at 11:00 am in the funeral home. Interment will follow at Lake Township Cemetery.
