Lucy A. Weaver, 80, of Toledo, passed away Sunday, November 8th, 2009, at her residence surrounded by her family. She was born in Toledo, Ohio to Clemente and Maria (Sanchez) Ahumada. On May 24, 1952, she married Charles Weaver and he survives. Lucy was a teacher in the Toledo Public Schools for 23 years, retiring in 1985. Lucy was an active member of Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church. Surviving are her husband of 57 years, Charles; children, Diane (Mark) Fangman, Bruce (Patricia) Weaver; sister, Anita Duran; brother, Wallace Ahumada, and sisters-in-law, Rose and Connie Ahumada. Also survived by 5 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. Lucy was preceded in death by her brother, John Ahumada. Friends may call at the Eggleston Meinert Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road, on Wednesday, November 11th from 2-9 p.m. where the Rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Funeral services will begin at 9 a.m. Thursday with prayers in the funeral home and proceed to Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, 728 S. St. Clair Street, Toledo, for Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. Entombment will follow at Restlawn Memorial Park. Memorials may be directed to Sts. Peter and Paul Church. Visitation: Wednesday, 2:00 - 9:00 p.m. Services: Thursday, 10:00 a.m. at Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church Interment: Restlawn Memorial Park
