Luella Hansen, 95, formerly of Oregon, passed away on Friday, June 19, 2009 in the Lutheran Home of Toledo. She was born in Genoa, Ohio on August 13, 1913 to Cyrus and Emma (Zesing) Trowbridge and was a Lake High School graduate. Luella was employed as a teller at the former Farmer's Savings Bank for 12 years before her retirement in 1975. Mrs. Hansen was a member of St. Mark Lutheran Church where she was active in the Esther Circle and the Adult Seniors Group. She also spent many years as a volunteer at St. Charles Hospital.
She is survived by her son Kenneth (Carol) Hansen of Indianapolis; grandchildren, Beth (Tony) Tepper, Lisa (Matt) Perry; great grandchildren, Aaron, Andrea, and Nathan Perry, and Alec Tepper; She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Norman; and brother Charles Trowbridge.
There will be no visitation and services will be private. Arrangements are being handled by the Eggleston Meinert Pavley Funeral Home.
