Luis H. Aguirre, 67, of Toledo, Ohio passed away February 28, 2009, at Hospice of Northwest Ohio. He was born in Houston, TX on January 13, 1942, to Ramon and Maria (Hernandez) Aguirre. Luis served in the US Army and was employed with Electro Prime as a laborer. Surviving are his wife, Sally; daughters, Elizabeth (Scott) Lutz, Sharon Huddleston, Rhonda Rivera; brothers and sisters, Raymond H. (Lucia) Aguirre, John H. Aguirre, Romulo H. Aguirre, Olivia R. (Marcos) Ortiz, Henry H. (Dora) Solia, Erlinda A. Tristen, Jesse H. Arellano, Katherine A. Garcia; 8 grand-children; 15 great-grand-children, and mother-in-law, Angela Ross; along with friends, Nick and Julia Hernandez. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ramon and Maria; brothers, Carlos and Albert; sisters, Roise and Lupe and grandson, Juan E. Ybarra. Visitation will be held from 2 until 9 p.m. on Tuesday, March 3, 2009, at the Eggleston Meinert Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel with a Prayer Service at 7:00 p.m. Funeral services will begin in the funeral home on Wednesday at 9:15 a.m. and proceed to Sacred Heart Church for Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. Interment will follow at Lake Township Cemetery.
