IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Luis "Papi" "Cuco"
Negron Jr.
February 13, 1951 – July 23, 2024
Luis Negron Jr., 73, of Martin, Ohio, passed away on Tuesday, July 23, 2024 at Toledo Promedica Toledo Hospital with his loving family by his side. He was born in Manhattan, New York to Luis and Gladys (Gutierrez) Negron Sr. Louie proudly enlisted in the United States Army and served his country during the Vietnam War. He later married Veronica (White) and together they shared 29 years of marriage. He worked at GM for 26 years retiring in 2021 where he was also proud of being on the EMS Firefighting team. He was a self-taught mechanic, who was able to fix everything and anything. He enjoyed fishing, camping and traveling. His true passion was riding his motorcycles and was an absolute fanatic of antique muscle cars. Louie was known as a jokester, able to light up any room he walked into. He was one of those that had no hair on his tongue, always calling it as he saw it. Louie was proud of his 32 years of sobriety and helping others along the way. What he cherished most was his loving family, friends and helping others that needed it.
Louie is survived by his loving wife of 29 years, Veronica' son, Papo; brother, Dwayne; cousins, Laurie and John; loving friends, Eric (Kim), Joe (Beth) and kids, Tammy and Ben and best neighbors, Deb and Tom; and many other loving family members and friends, too many to name but all held close to the family's heart.
The family will receive friends at Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road, Monday, July 29, 2024 from 3:00 p.m. until the time of funeral services at 7:00 p.m. Expressions of sympathy in Loui's name may be directed to Area 55, https://area55aa.org/.
