Lula "Lou" Grames, 86 of Oregon, Ohio passed away on Thursday, February 26, 2009 in her home. She was born in Greenup County, KY on February 7, 1923 to George and Nora (Blanton) Howard. Lou loved gardening and spending time with her family Surviving are her children, William (Sharon) Grames, Earl (Darla) Grames, Doris Wiley, Joyce (Denver) Weikel, Patrick (Theresa) Grames, Mary (Doug) Rynn, Irene (Bob) Delphous, Valerie (Michael) Kruck, Sherry (Mike Baskey) Grames and Michael (Nancy) Grames; sisters, Julie Whitt, Rosie Webb and Garnet Taylor and 71 grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, William J.; son, Donald Eugene; grandson, Charlie Grames; 3 brothers and 2 sisters. Friends and family may visit at the Eggleston Meinert Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel 440 S. Coy Rd. on Monday, March 2, 2009 from 2-9 pm where funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday at 1 pm. Interment will take place in Restlawn Memorial Park.
