Lyle Zunk, 88, of Oregon, Ohio passed away on Monday, March 10, 2008, in Hospice of Northwest Ohio Perrysburg Inpatient Unit. Mr. Zunk was born in Toledo on February 9, 1920, to August and Grace (Weidner) Zunk. Lyle worked for over 30 years for Brown Motor Sales before his retirement in 1985. He was a member of St. Mark Lutheran Church, Teamsters, and Toledo Swiss Society. Mr. Zunk was an avid bowler and enjoyed playing golf in the Swiss League. He also operated his own bicycle repair shop from his home for many years. Surviving are his daughter, Diana (Ken)Burkhart; brothers, Dale and Merlin (Joann) Zunk; sisters, Janet Buschmann, Donna Siebenaler, Marilyn Zunk and Judy (Jim) Crawford; grandchildren, Glynn Burns, Laurie (Rick) Payeff, Patrick (Sandy) Burns, Brett (Heather) Burns; great- grandchildren, Andrew, AJ, Adam, Larissa, Cassidy and Cylie. He was preceded in death by his wife, Marcella "Marcie); brother, Leland Zunk; sisters, Geraldine Przyojski, Gloria Soncrant. Visitation will be held at the Eggleston Meinert Pavley Funeral Home Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road, Oregon, Ohio on Thursday from 2 to 9 p.m. Funeral services will be held Friday in St. Mark Lutheran Church, Woodvillle and Elmore Streets at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Lake Township Cemetery. The family suggests memorial contributions in Lyle's memory be made to either St. Mark Lutheran Church or Hospice of Northwest Ohio. Visitation: Thursday, 2-9 p.m. Services: Friday, 11 a.m.
