Madelyn Hirzel Cimpritz
Madelyn Hirzel Cimpritz, 82, of Toledo passed away peacefully on Friday, July 3, 2009 in Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Toledo. Madelyn was born in Toledo on October 7, 1926 to Alfred and Bertha (Vogelsanger) Hirzel and was a graduate of Northwood High School. She was employed for over 25 years at Hunt Wesson Foods before her retirement in 1993. During her employment she would become the 1st female forklift driver in the distribution unit. Mrs. Cimpritz was a member of Memorial United Church of Christ, Toledo Swiss Society, where she sang in the choir for 22 years and the Rossford Eagles.
Surviving are her daughters, Pam St. Claire and Debbie (Michael) Buczko; grandchildren, Bobby and Jason St. Claire, Aaron and Ashley Buczko; great grandchild, Jason Jr.; brothers, Alfred, Robert and Ernest Hirzel; sisters, Ruth Brown and Betty Stotz. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Hugh and Donald Hirzel; sister, Thelma Hoehner.
Funeral services will be conducted Thursday at 11:00 am in the Eggleston Meinert Pavley Funeral Home, 440 S. Coy Road where visitation will be Wednesday from 2 to 9 pm. Interment will be in Lake Township Cemetery. Memorial contributions in Madelyn's memory may be made to Memorial United Church of Christ.
