Mae E. (Nichoson) Montague, 82, of Ellenton, Florida and formerly of Catawba, passed away on Sunday, March 21, 2010, in the Tidewell Hospice in Ellenton. Mae was born in Oklahoma City on August 9, 1927, to Blake and Pearl (Clark) Williams. She was the widow of her first husband, Lester Nichoson, who passed away in 1976. Mae was always active community volunteer, helping in Pt. Clinton, Toledo and in Florida. Surviving are her husband of 31 years, Gerald; son, Ron Nichoson; step sons, Michael (Jan) and James ( Michelle) Montague; daughters, Kathy Harris and Linda (Rudy Mravec) Meyers; sister, Lorene Smith; grandchildren, Brian (Marcia) Meyers, Tracy ( Mike) Crowder, Stacy (Troy Campbell) Meyers, Joeylyn (Michael) Dale, Kelly (Mark) Schultz, Kevin (Jenni) Harris, Tammi Durco and 15 great grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her parents and son-in-law, Travis. Friends may call in the Eggleston Meinert Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, on Thursday from 2 to 9 pm. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home on Friday, March 26th, at 1:00 pm. Interment will be in Fish Cemetery. The family suggest memorial contributions in Mae's memory be made to the Tidewell Hospice in Ellenton, Florida.
