Margaret F. 'œMaggie' Carpenter, 90, of Toledo, Ohio, passed away Thursday, August 2, 2012 in the Lutheran Home at Toledo. Margaret was born on August 12, 1921 in Toledo, Ohio to Louis and Martha (Kaiser) Miller. On April 13, 1956, she married Enos Carpenter. Margaret was employed with Ohio Bell as a long distance operator for 27 years, retiring in 1970. Margaret is survived by her sisters, Erma (Charles) Felkey, Joyce (Ed) Dixon, and Marthalou (Roy) Glass; step daughter, Geraldine (Tom) McKee, along with several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband; sister, Marjorie Kirchner; brothers, Charles, Robert, Edgar, and George Miller; and step-son, Ronald Carpenter. Friends may call at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road on Monday from 11:00 am until time of funeral service at 12:00 pm. Interment will follow at Ottawa Hills Memorial Park.
