Margaret M. Gates, 93, of Oregon, Ohio, passed away on Tuesday, November 2, 2010 in Little Sisters of the Poor Sacred Heart Home. She was born in Grand Rapids, MI on April 10, 1917 to Guy and Maude (Strange) Bush. Margaret was a member of Martin & Shelbyville United Methodist Church, Martin, MI. Surviving are her daughter, Connie Lynn (Charles) Braunbern; sons, Roger (Sue) Holmes, Ronald (Jane) Holmes, Douglas Gates and Paul Gates; sisters, Carley Guidebeck and Patricia (Russ) Jones. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Leo 'œBill'; brothers, Garth and Raymond Bush and sister, Rose Abernathy. Friends and family may visit at the Little Sisters of the Poor Sacred Heart Home 4900 Navarre Ave. Oregon, OH on Wednesday, November 3, 2010 from 2 p.m. until the time of service at 3:30 pm. Interment will take place in Wayland Township Cemetery, Michigan. Arrangements are being handled by the Eggleston meinert Pavley Funeral Homes.
