Margaret M. Genzman'™s train pulled into its final station September 4, 2012 at the age of 83. She was born in Toledo, Ohio on February 16, 1929 to Norman and Helen (Rust) Genzman. She was a 1947 graduate of Waite High School. Margaret was employed as a clerk by the Norfolk and Southern Railroad for 43 years, retiring in 1992. She was a member and past deacon of Memorial UCC, past president of the National Association of Railroad Business Women, and past recording secretary of BRC Lodge #234. Margie was a world traveler who visited all continents except Antarctica.
Surviving are her sister, Eileen Stauber; nieces and nephews, Susan Stauber (Jim Wilcox), Rory Stauber (Cindy Bandish), Greg (Judy Ubben) Genzman, Fred Genzman, Cheryl (Randy) Pyle, Paul (Lianne) Genzman, Gretchen (Pete) Paskiet, and Peter Genzman along with many great nieces and nephews; and beloved sister-in-law, Katherine Genzman. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Robert and Norman; sister, Beatrice Gilles, and soul mate, Charles Ford.
Visitation will be held at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road on Thursday from 3:00-9:00 p.m. Funeral services will be conducted in the funeral home on Friday at 1:00pm. with interment following in Lake Township Cemetery.
