Margaret Jean Horton, 77, formerly of East Toledo, passed away peacefully, Saturday, October 9, 2004, at the Elizabeth Scott Memorial Care Center, Maumee, where she had resided for the past 2 years. Margaret was born in Toledo, Ohio, on December 24, 1926, to Stephan and Mable (Blodgett) Wojtaluk. She was a graduate of Whitney High School. Margaret's family was her life. She was a loving wife, a great mother, and a super grandmother.
Margaret is survived by her daughters, Carol Sue (Thomas) Sicha and Linda Leganik; sister, Phyllis Kuknke; brother, Harold Wojtaluk; grandchildren, Eric (Nicole) Sicha, Jennifer Sicha, David Leganik and Kimberly (Philip) Baskey; great-grandchildren, Aiden Sicha, Joshua Leganik and Hannah Baskey. She was preceded in death by her parents, and husband, Osborne Horton.
Friends and family may visit at the Eggleston Meinert Pavley Funeral Home, Coy Road Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road, on Monday, October 11, 2004, from 2-9 p.m. Funeral services held in the funeral home at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Interment will follow at Ottawa Hills Memorial Park Memorial. Those wishing to make an expression of sympathy in Margaret's memory are asked to consider the Alzheimer's Association.
