The Lord has called Margaret Mae Jurski (Johnson) home. She lived 91 amazing years. In II Timothy 4-6-9, Paul says, "I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Finally, there is laid up for me and the crown of righteousness which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give to me on that day and, not to me only, but also to all who have loved his appearing." This is also true of Margaret.
Margaret passed away peacefully on December 13, 2021 at Parkcliff Memory Care. She was born and raised in Toledo and graduated from Waite High School. During her life she volunteered as a Candy Striper at St. Vincent's Hospital, worked at Tiedtkes, Continental Bakery, Hostess Bakery and finally as a Lab Secretary at St Charles Hospital where she finally retired.
Margaret and her husband Michael were devout Christians and active church members for most of their lives. Together they raised 3 sons: Ron (Deborah) of Toledo, Rick (Lisa) of Oregon, and Rob (Trudy) of Perrysburg. She had 4 Grand Children, Rick Jurski, Jr, Tracy Jurski, Jeremy Jurski & Tod Jurski and 7 Great Grandchildren. She also leaves behind 2 brothers, Charles (Linda) Johnson of Ft. Wayne, and Bill Johnson. Margaret was proceeded in death by her husband Michael, her parents, Karl & Freda Johnson, and brother Robert Johnson.
Visitation and celebration of Margaret's life will be held at Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road on Sunday December 19, 2021 from 3 – 8 pm. Funeral services will be Monday, December 20, 2021 at 10:30 a.m. with burial to follow at Toledo Memorial Cemetery Sylvania Ohio.
