Margaret Bozo. Lawson, 91, of Toledo, passed away February 26, 2010 at Lutheran Home at Toledo.
She was born in Toledo, Ohio to Charles and Mary (Sanders) Bozo. Margaret attended Birmingham School, Waite High School, and graduated from Vocational High School of Toledo. Margaret later graduated from Davis Business College. She was a lifelong member of Calvin United Church of Christ.
During WW II, Margaret worked in the purchasing department at Rossford Army Depot. She held secretarial positions at Carl Schmidt Chevrolet and S.C.O.R.E.. In later years she worked at Lion Store and Lamson'™s in Parkway Plaza. Always full of energy, she loved to dance at the old Trianon Ballroom and volunteered at St. Charles and St Luke Hospital gift shops. In later years, she volunteered for the American Red Cross, American Cancer Society, Toledo Zoo, Toledo Botanical Garden, and Toledo Art Museum. She was active with her retired friends who were known as the 'œShrinking Violets'.
Margaret is survived by her nephews, Jim Jacob and Richard Bozo, nieces, Judy (Jerry) Nemet, Mary Ann (Rick) Dimling, and Marilyn (John) Steinwand, She was preceded in death by her parents, sister Ethel (Jim) Jacob and brother Louie (Irene) Bozo.
Memorial Services will be held Saturday, March 27th at 2:00 pm, in the chapel at Lutheran Home at Toledo. Inurnment will take place at a later date in North Oregon Cemetery.
