Margaret I. Manteuffel, 91, of Toledo, Ohio passed away May 22, 2014 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Perrysburg. She was born in Toledo, Ohio on January 24, 1923 to Chester and Iona (Butte) Walls. Margaret was employed as a registered nurse for 30 years at the former Parkview and Mercy Hospitals, retiring in 1975. She was a member of St. Mark Lutheran Church. Margaret also was a member of the Mercy alumni and a volunteer for the American Red Cross. Surviving are her husband, Richard; sister, Charlotte (Ron) Roush; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and sisters, Virginia Evans and Jeannette Feeback. Visitation will be held at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road on Monday, May 26, 2014 from 2-8 p.m. Funeral services will be conducted in the funeral home on Tuesday at 11 a.m. Interment will follow in Toledo Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be directed to St. Mark Lutheran Church or Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
