Margaret M. Moyer, 81, of Millbury, Ohio, passed away Wednesday, June 15, 2005, at the Genoa Care Center. Margaret was born in Sandusky, Ohio, on May 10, 1924, to Earl and Esther Ruth Salome (Smith) Abele. She was an active member of Memorial United Church of Christ, Toledo, Ohio. She was the first female to complete a 5 year study course established by the Northwest Ohio Association of the United Church of Christ, to become a Lay Minister. Margaret was the co-founder and owner, with her husband, of the MMM Tax Service, serving the community for more than 50 years. Margaret was also a 50 year member of the Woodbine Chapter O.E.S., past member of the Millbury Village Council where she served 11 years, Board of Election Precinct worker for over 25 years, and she was a census counter. Surviving are her loving husband of 61 years, Henry Moyer; daughter, Kathrine (Bruce) Wilson of Las Vegas, NV; grandchildren, Marc Benton Wilson of Tucson, AZ, Ann Marie Elizabeth Wilson of Las Vegas, NV. Margaret was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Esther Abele. There will be no visitation. Memorial services will be held Friday at 11:00 a.m. in the Memorial United Church of Christ, Starr Avenue. Graveside service will take place in Cedar Hills Cemetery, Beavertown, PA.
