Margaret Jane Warns, of Toledo, beloved mother of three, quietly passed away Thursday, February 3, 2005. She was born September 4, 1929, to Mr. and Mrs. Arthur (Pearl) Gast. Margaret was preceded in death by her husband, James W. Warns (June 25, 1974); brothers, Herbert, Lyle and Mel Gast; sisters, Marie Bradley, Elsie Fitzgerald and her beloved granddaughter, Kelly Sue Horvath (March 18, 2004). She is survived by her three children, Karen (Matt) Timbrook, Kevin (Mary Yoder) Warns and Kent (Nyla Parker) Warns; 5 grandchildren, Dan (Jackie) Horvath, Jamie Howard, Katie Timbrook, Mackenzie Parker Warns, James Robert Warns; brother, Art (Patricia) Gast; sister, Anna Hoot and her twin sister, Mary Swiderski. They were the last of four sets of twins born to Arthur and Pearl. Also surviving are numerous nieces, nephews and her dear friends from Waite High School, Imie Fitts, Theresa Ello and Lois Rickert. Marge and Jim were married on November 13, 1948, in Stony Ridge by the late Rev. Herbert Deler. Marge missed the birth of her first great-grandbaby by just three months to Dan (Jackie) Horvath. She worked for Prestolite Battery for ten years then went to work for her very dear friends, Dr. Leonard and Rita Buck, looking after their three children, their home and their dog, Nola, for seventeen years. Born and raised on the east side, from which she never left. She had wonderful neighbors who helped in countless ways and they were always rewarded with delicious baked goods. For the past two years, Marge's son, Kent, was her primary care giver.
