Margie M. Hamblin, 85, of Oregon, Ohio, passed away peacefully, Wednesday, March 29, 2023, surrounded by her loving family. Margie was born in Toledo, Ohio, May 1, 1937 to Kenneth and Helen (Shimman) Schriefer. In 1955, Margie graduated from Clay High School. On September 14, 1957, she married her husband of 51 years, James. She was employed with CSX Railroad and Hunt Wesson Foods. Mrs. Hamblin was longtime choir member at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Her greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Margie is survived by her daughter, Judy (Michael) O'Shea; grandchildren, Michael (Sarah) O'Shea Jr., Elizabeth (Ryan) Huntermark, and James O'Shea; great-grandchildren, Christian, Alexis, Abigail, Michael III, Addison, Logan, and Tyler; sister, Betty Uebrroth; along with many nieces, nephews, loving family members and friends. Preceded in death by her parents and husband James, who's grave she visited faithfully.

The family will receive friends at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440S. Coy Road Tuesday, April 4, 2023 from 2:00 pm – 8:00 pm. Funeral services Wednesday, April 5, 2023 at 1:30 pm in the funeral home. Interment: Lake Township Cemetery. Margie's family wishes to thank Lisa, Elizabeth, Chaplin Cherie, and Dani with Hospice of Northwest Ohio for their gracious care of Margie over the past year.
