Marian H. (Mucci) Damschroder 86, of Oregon, Ohio, passed away peacefully at Mercy St. Charles Hospital on January 31, 2019. Marian was born November 15, 1932 to James and Helen Mucci and graduated from Libbey High School in 1950. On November 1, 1958 she married Robert Damschroder and spent 60 wonderful years together. Marian was a longtime member of St. Mark Lutheran Church and was active in the Order of the Eastern Star. She was a member of the Elks and enjoyed spending time with friends at Elks' functions. Marian and husband Bob spent many summers at their condominium in Port Clinton on Lake Erie. She loved traveling and was a member of the Nomads Travel Club, which made many trips to Europe, the Caribbean islands, and many of the 50 states. She enjoyed card games with friends, family, and grandchildren. Marian was a devoted sister, mother, grandmother, aunt, and friend, and will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Marian is survived by her husband, Bob; daughter, Deanne (Pete) Douglas; grandchildren, Bruce (Lauren) Douglas, Megan Douglas, and Jennifer Douglas; great-grandsons, Peter and Johnathan Douglas; brother, Harold (Gloria) Mucci; sister, Fran (Joe) Wyatt; and many nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Rd. on Monday, February 4, 2019 from 11:00 am until the time of the memorial service at 1:00 pm. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
