Marian L. Gargac Loertscher, 92, of Northwood, Ohio, passed away Sunday, September 29, 2013, at Orchard Villa. Marian was born in Toledo, Ohio on October 15, 1920, to Gartha and Mabel (Barber) Sloan. She was a member of Echo Meadows Church of Christ. Marian was a lifelong resident of Toledo and Northwood. Marian was proud to have lived independently in her home until 4 weeks ago. Surviving are her loving husband, Don Loertscher; children, Phil (Sharon) Gargac, Glenn (Rosa) Gargac, Gloria Kalisieski; step-daughter, Mary (John) Clime; grandchildren, Andrew (Bobbi) Gargac, Paul (Susan) Gargac, Becky (Tom) Farrell, Lisa (Mike) Mayo, Matthew Kalisieski, Mike Sunderman, Penny (Alan) Burns; 11 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren. Marian was preceded in death by her parents; first husband, Alex Gargac in 1969; 3 brothers and her twin sister, Thelma Nagy, and son-in-law, John Kalisieski. Keeping with Marians wishes there will be no visitation and graveside services at Lake Township Cemetery will be private. Those wishing to make an expression of sympathy in Marians memory are asked to consider Echo Meadows Church of Christ, or Hospice of Northwest Ohio, or Donors choice.
