Marian A. Rice, 89, of Oregon, Ohio passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 24, 2021. Marian was born in Toledo, Ohio on February 7, 1932 to Paul and Geraldine (Verity) Tober. She graduated from Whitney High School in 1950 and shortly after married the love of her life, Dennis Rice Sr. who preceded her in death. She was a life member at Martin Luther Lutheran Church. She worked at the Toledo Sportcenter for 52 years, developing lifelong friendships along the way. Marian was past President of Sportcenter bowling leagues, a member of FOE Rossford and Maumee Elks. She was an avid Euchre and Bunco player, but what she cherished most was her loving family who will miss her dearly. Marian is survived by her son, Dennis (Terri) Rice Jr.; daughter, Julie (Joe) Pocs; 10 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; son-in-law, Paul Tegtmeier; daughter-in-laws, Mary Amick and Marlene Rice. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Dennis Sr., daughter, Sandra Tegtmeier; sons, Frederick and Paul Rice; and brother, Frederick Tober Friends and family may visit Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Rd. Oregon, Ohio, 43616 on Saturday, February 27, 2021 from 11:00 a.m. until the time of funeral service at 2:00 pm. Interment will follow in Restlawn Memorial Park.
