Marian J. Rocco, 89, of Toledo, Ohio, passed away on November 3, 2014, at Heartland of Oregon surrounded by her loving family. Marian was born on November 20, 1924 to Michael and Regina (Pocse) Gaydos. Marian was a member of St. Stephens Catholic Church and the Altar Rosary Society. For 20 years, Marian worked as a cook and housekeeper for Lucas County. Her true passion was spending time with her grandson. Marian is survived by her son, Pete (Annie) Rocco; grandson, Pete Rocco; along with many nieces, nephews, and loving family members. She was preceded in death by her parents; and sister and brother-in-law, Eleanor and Emery Perlaky, who cared for Marian throughout the years. Friends may call at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road on Wednesday, November 5, 2014 from 2-8 pm with recitation of the rosary at 6:00 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, November 6, 2014 at 11:00 Epiphany of the Lord Parish-St. Stephen'™s Catholic Church, 2018 Consaul Street, Toledo, where the family will greet friends beginning at 10:00 am. Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery. Expressions of sympathy may be directed to St. Stephens Catholic Church. The family would like to give a special thanks to the Perlaky family.
