Marian Winchester, 94, of Apple Valley, MN and formerly of Oregon, OH passed away, Saturday, May 29, 2004, in Fairview Ridges Hospital, Burnsville, MN. She was born on October 7, 1909 in Toledo, OH. Marian was a graduate of Waite High School and Bowling Green State University. She was a member of St. Mark Lutheran Church and was a teacher at Coy School for 30 years. Marian loved gardening, was an avid Buckeye fan, enjoyed bird watching, collecting antiques and enjoyed tennis in her younger years, winning a championship.
Surviving are her sons, Mark, Northwood, OH and Bruce (Maureen), Rosemount, MN; grandchildren, Elisabeth (Dan) Beise, Andrew, Ana, Alanna and Erica; great-grandson, Micah Beise and several nieces and nephews. Marian was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Helen Brindley.
Visitation will be held at the Eggleston-Meinert-Pavley Funeral Home Woodville Road Chapel, 1111 Woodville Road, Millbury on Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home on Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Toledo Memorial Park. The family suggest memorial contributions be made to the donor's choice.
