Marie E. Fejes, 88, of Oregon, Ohio, passed away Wednesday, March 8, 2017 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio Toledo, surrounded by her loving family. Marie was born in Toledo, Ohio on April 20, 1928 to Robert and Gertrude (Henninger) Schick. Marie graduated from Waite High School and shortly after married the love of her life, Stephen Fejes on February 27, 1947. She was an active member at First St. Mark Lutheran Church and enjoyed playing cards and going on gambling trips with her friends. Marie built a strong relationship with her close group of friends from high school going on monthly lunch dates for the past 60 years. She took great pride in caring for her son, Michael for 46 years before his passing. Marie was a selfless woman, cherished time spent with her family and will be deeply missed. Marie is survived by her children, Stephen (Carol) Fejes, Joe (Joni) Fejes, Tim (Terry) Fejes; grandchildren, Sarah, Tyre, Marlee, Jacob; and 2 great-grandchildren; special friend, Robert Hermes. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Stephen; son, Michael and 4 siblings The family will receive friends at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel 440 S. Coy Road on Sunday, March 12, from 12:00 pm – 8:00 pm. Funeral services will be conducted on Monday at 11:00 am in the funeral home. Interment will follow at Restlawn Memorial Park.
