Marie E. Koester, 85, passed away on Saturday, November 12, 2005 at St. Charles Mercy Medical Center. She was born in Toledo, OH on June 25, 1920 to Ernest and Genevra (Hipsher) Tolles. Marie was a graduate of Waite High School and a member of First St. John Lutheran Church, Esther Circle, Lucas County Homemakers Club and a past member of Rebecca Lodge. Surviving are her loving husband of 65 years, Floyd; sons, James (Sandra) of WI and Robert (Sharon) TN; daughters, Donna Koester of Oregon and Joyce (Dan) Martin of Oregon; grandchildren, Michael (Annette) of WI, Stephanie of WI and Devin (Leslie) Koester of TN, Jean and Patrick Martin of Oregon; great-grandchildren, Benjamin, Zachary, Kent and Maci. Marie was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Jean Koester; brothers Howard and Robert Tolles. Friends and family may visit at Eggleston Meinert Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road, Oregon, OH on Monday, November 14, 2005 from 2-9 pm. Funeral services will in the funeral home on Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Willow Cemetery.
