Marie E. Miller, 92, passed away on February 11, 2015 at Mercy St. Charles Medical Center. She was born in Jerusalem Township on April 11, 1922 to Edwin and Lillie (Johns) Diekman. Marie worked for several years for the B&O Railroad and was a member of the Dunberger Post American Legion Ladies Auxiliary. Marie's most treasured times were when she was with her family. Marie is survived by her daughter, Nancy L. Reichard; son, Bruce C. (Carol); grandchildren, Dawn (Rob) Brushaber, Becky (Mark) Dominique, Jennifer (Jeff) Nowak, Amber (Tait) Miller, Beau (Dana) Miller; step-grandchildren, Dawn (Jeff) Herr, Donald (Jodi) Halka, Christy (Chris) Goetz; 11 great-grandchildren, 7 step great-grandchildren; 1 step great-great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles; parents; brother, Richard Diekman; son-in-law, Robert Reichard. Friends may visit at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Rd. on Monday, February 16, 2015 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will take place on Tuesday in the funeral home at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Oakwood Cemetery. Those wishing an expression of sympathy in Marie's name are asked to consider the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation or St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
