Marilyn M. Cluckey, 82, passed away April 10, 2005 in Bryson City, NC. She was born in Toledo, OH on July 28, 1922 to Roy and Stella (Munderschid) Pitzen. Marilyn worked for Sun Oil Corporation, Interlake Iron and was personnel manager for St. Regis Paper Company. In 1982, with her daughters and families, she moved to Naples, FL and bought Schatzies Deli. After a brief retirement, Marilyn became a cake decorator for Publix Supermarkets for 12 years and then retired to summer in Bryson City and winter in Naples. Surviving are her sister, Barbara Couts, Murphy NC; daughters, Sally Walls (Carl Ullrich), Susan (Frank) Wellman; grandchildren, Jeff ( Sherry) Walls, Jason (Adriana) Walls, Jennifer Walls, Karen Schwind, Matt (Romina) Schwind, Katie (Randy) Stearns; 19 great grandchildren and many dear friends and Florida family. Her husband, Gerald, mother, Stella and grandson, Joe Walls, preceded her in death. Graveside services will be in Restlawn Memorial Park, 3665 Genoa Rd, Perrysburg, OH on Saturday, April 16, 2005 with family services from 10-10:30 am and friends from 10:30 until the time of the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. Family gathering will be announced after the service. Florida services will be Sunday, April 24, 2005 at the Mueller Thompson Funeral Chapel at 2:00 p.m. Arrangements by the Eggleston Meinert Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel.
