Marilyn J. Lewandowski, 80, of Walbridge, Ohio, passed away Tuesday, March 31, 2015 at Mercy St. Charles Hospital. Marilyn was born in Toledo, Ohio on August 5, 1934 to Irving and Mildred (Bellamy) Goodeman. She married the love of her life, Jeremias "Jerry" Lewandowski on August 20, 1954. She was a longtime member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Marilyn enjoyed crafts and sharing her talents at many local craft shows. Marilyn will be remembered as a caregiver to her parents, husband, and grandchildren. Her true passion was spending time with her family, playing games and working puzzles. Marilyn is survived by her husband of 60 years, Jerry; children, Debbie (Larry) Ivan, Jim (Karen) Lewandowski, and Terri Lewandowski; grandchildren, Bruce (Mari) Ivan, Brad Ivan (Jess), Jennifer (Jeff) Hawkins, and Laura (Jonathan) Hallauer; great-grandchildren, Zach, Jonathan Jr., Jackson, Haylee, and Hayden; sister, Shirley (Bob) Businger; along with many loving family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and great-grandson, Jacob Ivan. Friends may call at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon, Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road on Tuesday, April 7, 2015 from 2:00 pm – 8:00 pm. The Rosary will be recited at 4:00 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday, April 8, 2015 at 10:00 am in Epiphany of the Lord Parish – Sacred Heart Church, 509 Oswald Street, Toledo, Ohio 43605, where the family will receive friends beginning at 9:00 am. Interment will follow in Lake Township Cemetery.
