Marilyn June Flack, beloved wife of Charles Flack, died peacefully on Tuesday, December 20, 2005, when her Lord called her home. She was born August 20, 1930, in Ney, OH, to Ray B. and Mildred (Cheney) Wright. Marilyn was an active member of Lotus Chapter # 477, Order of Eastern Star, serving twice as Worthy Matron, and for many years an officer. She was a member of Queen Esther circle, Baton Club and Past Matrons and Patrons Club. Mrs. Flack also was a member of Christina Court, Order of Amaranth, where she currently served as Marshal in the West. Marilyn was an active member of Church of the Cross, United Methodist, and a person of deep spiritual faith. She will be greatly missed by all.
Surviving is her loving husband, Charles Flack; son, Charles III (Cheryl); daughter, Carolyn (Peter) Maxwell; brother, Donald; grandchildren, Peter R. Maxwell, Matthew Maxwell (Fiancee Emily), Danielle (Matt) Palicki and Charles IV (Christine) Flack; great-grandchildren, Haley, Noah Palicki and baby Flack due in July. Marilyn was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Ray E. Wright and sister, Bonnie Shank.
Family and friends may visit at the Eggleston Meinert Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road, Oregon, Ohio, on Thursday, December 22, 2005, from 2-4 and 6-9 p.m. with an Eastern Star service at 7 p.m. Funeral services will be conducted on Friday at 10 a.m. in the funeral home. Interment will be in Williston Cemetery. A luncheon will then be held at Church of the Cross, United Methodist, Cass at Eastgate. Expressions of sympathy in Marilyn's memory can be made to Church of the Cross, United Methodist or Eastern Star Estral Fund.
