Obituary

Marjorie E. Blum, 84, of Oregon, Ohio passed away July 15, 2008 at Orchard Villa. She was born in Syracuse, New York on September 19, 1923 to Thomas and Margaret (Wood) Perry.  Marjorie was employed as an executive secretary at the Dana Corporation. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary, Conn Weisenberger Post, GBU, UCT, Dana retirees Group "TADRA" and the Teamster Retirees Group.  Surviving are her husband, George L. Blum; daughters, Margaret (John) Ewald and Nancy (Michael) Reineck; brother, Thomas (Doris) Perry; 6 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren, and several nieces, and nephews. Marjorie was preceded in death by her parents; first husband, Louis W. Fuhr, and sister, Mary Perry. Family and friends may visit at the Eggleston Meinert Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Rd., on Friday, July 18, 2008 from 2-9 p.m. with funeral services to be held the same evening at 7:00 p.m.  Private inurnment will be in Lake Township Cemetery. Those wishing to make an expression of sympathy in Marjories memory can be made to Hospice of Northwest Ohio. The family would like to give a special thanks to nurses aids, Mary and Hope at Orchard Villa for their special care and support. Visitation: Friday, 2-9 p.m. Services: Friday, 7:00 p.m.
