Obituary

Marjorie M. Noel, 76, of Oregon, OH, passed away Tuesday, October 26, 2004, at Hospice of Northwest Ohio. Marjorie was born on April 29, 1928, in Williston, Ohio, to Leslie and Hazel (Will) Gustin. On November 14, 1945, she married Paul V. Noel. She was employed with Oregon City Schools as a bus driver for 31 years, retiring in 1994. She also was a member of New Harvest Christian Church and the Christian Business Women. Marjorie was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Paul, and children, Robert and Joyce Noel. Surviving are her children, Karen (David) Rife, Paul (Denise) Noel; daughter-in-law, Janet (David) Saunders; brothers, Bill Gustin of Tennessee and Robert Gustin of Florida; sisters, Norma Spencer of Tennessee and Velma Bailey of Florida; grandchildren, David (Lisa) and Michael Rife and Mindy, Paul, Natalie and Rhonda Noel; great-grandchildren, Lauren and Abigail Rife. Marjorie's family would like to express their thanks to Nancy Noel, John "Jack" Lehnart and the nurses and staff at Hospice of Northwest Ohio Perrysburg for all of their support and love given to Marjorie in her time of need. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 5-9 p.m. and Friday from 2-9 p.m. at the Eggleston-Meinert-Pavley Funeral Home, Coy Road Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road, Oregon. Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday at 11 a.m. in New Harvest Christian Church, Oregon, OH, where the family will greet friends one hour prior to the service. Interment will take place in Calvary Cemetery. Expressions of sympathy in Marjorie's memory can be made to New Harvest Christian Church or Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
