Obituary

Marjorie B. Rauhut, 90, passed away January 21, 2010 at Orchard Villa with her loving family by her side. She was born in Toledo on March 21, 1919 to Hellmuth and Zoe (Furry) Hassler. Marjorie was an active member of Clark Street United Methodist Church and the Women's Society; the Weslyan Class where she was a teacher. Marjorie was a member of the Flower Hospital Guild and the Friendly Center . She enjoyed going to luncheons with the Sun Oil Pipe Shop and her retiree group. Marjorie is survived by her daughter Pamela (Richard) Gagen; son, John (Barbara) Rauhut; grandchildren, Keith, Jeremy, Sarah; great-grandson, Jon; and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Clarence; her parents; brother, James Hassler; sister, Betty Schaller. Friends may visit at the Eggleston Meinert Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel on Sunday from 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Monday at 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Troy Township Cemetery. Expressions of sympathy in Marjorie's name can be made to Clark Street United Methodist Church or a charity of the donor's choice. The family would like to thank that staffs at Orchard Villa and Promedica Hospice for their loving care of Marjorie. Visitation: Sunday, 1-9 p.m. Services: Monday, 1:00 p.m. Interment: Troy Township Cemetery
