Marjorie E. Tassell, 94 of Venice, Florida, and formerly of Oregon, Ohio, passed away Saturday, July 27, 2013 at Village on the Isles, where she had resided for the past sixteen years. Marjorie was born in Toledo, Ohio on November 27, 1918 to James and Bertha (Kern) Humberstone. On February 1, 1941, she married Howard Tassell Jr. and he preceded her in death on November 10, 1995. Marjorie was an active member of St. Mark Lutheran Church, Toledo. Marjorie is survived by her children; Jim (Gloria) Tassell, Larry Tassell, Kathy (Butch) St. Jacques, and Cheri 'œTass' (Alan) Summers; 11 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren; and sister, Marion Diemer. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and grandson, Corey St. Jacques. A Celebration of Marjorie'™s Life will be held Saturday, August 31, 2013 from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm at St. Mark Lutheran Church, 611 Woodville Road, Toledo.
