Obituary

Mark C. Cray, 63, of Toledo, Ohio, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, Monday, August 7, 2023, at his home. Mark was born April 28, 1960, in Toledo, Ohio, to Charles and Doris (Haas) Cray. In 1978, he graduated from St. John's Jesuit High School. On September 1, 1984, he married the love of his life, Luann Hamilton. Mark worked as an auto mechanic for over forty years with Tireman, Tiremaxx, Med Corps Ambulance Service, and recently worked for NAPA Auto Parts. His greatest joys came from working with his hands on projects for family and friends, vacationing in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, and spending time with his children and grandchildren.

Mark is survived by his wife of 38 years, Luann; children, Brent (Kristin) Cray, Kristie (Anthony Szymanski) Cray, and Bradley (Sara Ramasocky) Cray; grandchildren, Kendra, Lilly, Khloe, Alex, and Bryce; siblings, Patricia (James) Brimacombe, Charles (Maureen) Cray, and John Cray; along with many nieces, nephews, loving family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Tom; and nephew, Craig Brimacombe.

The family will receive friends at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road, Saturday, August 12, 2023, from 10:00am until time of funeral service at 2:00 pm. Expressions of sympathy may be directed to a charity of the donor's choice.
