Mark A. Macek, from Oregon, Ohio, passed away at the age of 55, on February 5, 2013 at Heartland Hospice of Waterville, surrounded by his family after a long illness. Mark loved his music and knew all the group names and albums. He had a great sense of humor and loved to make people laugh. We knew Mark was getting to be a great cook because he told us so. He also shared a special style kiss with his sister, Leslie, as they were very close. Surviving are his children; Eric, Angela, and Jessica; parents, Frank and Nancy Macek; sisters, Leslie Nadeau, Kelly (James) Spray; niece Mikayla, and twin nephews Austin and Nathan. Friends and family may visit at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road on Saturday February 9, 2013 from 2:00 p.m. until funeral services at 7:00 p.m. Interment will be private at Lake Township Cemetery. The family would like to thank the staff from Heartland of Waterville for their caring ways to Mark and his family.
