Mark A. Williams, 51, of Toledo, OH passed away April 23, 2007 in his home. He was born in Monroe, MI on September 15, 1955 to Alfred and Anna Mae (Petroff) Williams. Mark was a graduate of Woodward High School and had been employed as a cook at the Brownstone Tavern. Mark loved to cook and was known for his sense of humor and always having a smile on his face. He was an avid reader of science fiction and enjoyed watching the SciFi channel. His hobbies also included fishing and rooting for the Detroit Lions.
Surviving are his daughter, Tiffany Williams; sons, Robert Williams and Timothy (Jennifer) Root; brothers, Alan and Steve (Kim) Williams; sisters, Sharon Williams, Sue (John) Gilbert, Karen (Steve) Snyder, Muggs Collins, Julie Williams, Marie Williams; 2 grandchildren, Zoee and Ayden Root. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation will be held in the Eggleston Meinert Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road, Oregon, Ohio on Friday from 2-9 pm. Funeral services will be conducted in the funeral home on Saturday, April 28, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be private. Memorial contributions to the family will be greatly appreciated.
