Martha L. Baker, 81, of Oregon, OH passed away Sunday, July 10, 2005 in Orchard Villa. She was born in Wood County, Ohio on March 5, 1924 to Charles Wright and Olive Mae (Lehman) Underwood. Martha was a member of the Northwood Fire Department Auxiliary. She enjoyed crocheting and made many afghans but she especially enjoyed spending time with her family. Surviving is her husband, Ervin; children, Christine (Claude) Como, Gail Baker and Troy (Christine) Baker; grandchildren, Claude Como, Donald W. Jr., Elizabeth C. and Erin Buck, Marta Stoephfel, Bridget and Brynn Baker; great-grandchildren Dakota, Austin and Samuel Stoephfel and Skylar Buck. Martha was preceded in death by her parents, brothers and sisters. Family and friends may visit at the Eggleston Meinert Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Rd. at Starr Ave. on Tuesday, July 12, 2005 from 2-9 p.m. where funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday at 11 am. Interment will follow in Restlawn Memorial Park.
