Martha J. Chevalier, 81, of Elmore, Ohio, passed away Tuesday, October 13, 2015, surrounded by her loving family. Martha was born Toledo, Ohio on October 17, 1933. On January 9, 1950, she married her childhood sweetheart Fritz Chevalier. Martha was an excellent cook and will be remembered for opening her door to those who stopped by. She was a member of the Monroe Rod & Gun Club and was one of the top lady trap shooters in Ohio winning many awards and trophies. Martha and Fritz were longtime members of the Roadrunner RV Club traveling throughout the Midwest.
Martha is survived by her husband of 65 years, Fritz; children, Fritz (Sandy) Chevalier, Bev (Jerry) Warner, and Debbie (Joe) Correa; grandchildren, Tracey Malik, Craig (Andrea) Brochu, Cortney (K. C.) Fleitz and April (Kenny) Siegler; 10 great-grandchildren; sisters, Susie and Carol; her chocolate lab, Ginger; along with many loving family members and friends.
A Celebration of Martha's life will be held Saturday, October 17, 2015 from 4:00 pm – 8:00 pm at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Millbury Chapel 1111 Woodville Road (east of I-280). Private interment will take place. Expressions of sympathy may be directed to a charity of the donor's choice.
