Martha F. (Reading) Davis, 77, of Toledo, Ohio passed away Wednesday, April 19, 2006 in her home.  She was born in Poplar Bluff, MO on July 23, 1928 to John and Ruby (Huff) Reading.  She was employed as a breakfast cook with St. Vincent's Hospital for 27 years retiring in 1991.  Martha enjoyed bowling, playing bunco and traveling.     She was preceded in death by her parents; son, William R. Davis and brother, George Reading.  Surviving are her grandchildren, Heather Thatcher, William Davis Jr. and Brent Davis; great-grandchildren, Marissa, Megan and Jimmy Thatcher, Benjamin and Bailey Davis; daughter-in-law, Debra Davis and very special friends, Jean Proshek and Kathy Davis.   Visitation will be held at the Eggleston Meinert Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road, Oregon, Ohio on Thursday from 6-9 p.m. and Friday from 2-9 p.m.   Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday in the funeral home at 10:30 a.m.  with interment following in Toledo Memorial Park.  Those wishing to make an expression of sympathy in Martha's memory are asked to consider the American Cancer Society.
