Martha Friend Stiles, 96, of Orchard Villa in Oregon and formerly of Toledo passed away on Saturday, December 23, 2006, in St. Charles Mercy Hospital. Martha was born in Toledo on August 24, 1910, to Stanley and Mary Ann (Demski) Raczkowski. Mrs. Stiles was a member of St. Thomas Aquinas Church and the Altar and Rosary Society. She was also active at the Lagrange Senior Center and St. Vincent Depaul's 55 plus club.  Surviving are her daughters, Janet (Roy) Ocheske, Elaine (Danny) Christian, Carol (Bob) Henney; sons, Duane (Beverly), Don and Frank (B.J.) Stiles; 32 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren; one great great grandson and 2 great great grand- children due in 2007. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Norman Friend and Eugene Stiles Sr.; step sons, Jerry, Bill , and Eugene Stiles Jr.; daughter, Emma Jean Pierce Visitation will begin for Mrs. Stiles on Tuesday from 2-9 p.m. in the Eggleston Meinert Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road at Starr Avenue. Scripture services will be Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. Funeral services will begin in the funeral home on Wednesday at 9:15 a.m. and proceed to St. Thomas Aquinas Church for the Mass of Christian Burial beginning at 10 a.m. Interment will follow in Lake Township Cemetery.
