Martha L. TenEyck, 77, of Oregon, Ohio, passed away peacefully, Thursday, July 19, 2018 surrounded by her family. Martha was born in Toledo, Ohio on July 30, 1940 to George and Eileen (Rhoda) Leisenheimer. On April 25, 1959, she married John W. TenEyck. For 30 years, Martha worked as an x-ray technician and mammogram specialist for St. Charles Hospital, retiring in 1990. In addition, Martha was a clinical instructor for Owens Technical College. She enjoyed wintering in Venice, Florida, fishing with her family, and raising field trial bassett hounds with her husband John. Martha is survived by her children, Terri (Terry) Thomas, John (Jane) TenEyck Jr., Jim (Ann) TenEyck, and Scott (Susan) TenEyck; 11 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; and sister, Molly (Tom) Buehler. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, daughter, Merri Jo TenEyck; and sister and brother-in-law, Toni and Chuck Baker. The family will receive friends at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road on Sunday, July 22, 2018 from 12:00 pm – 6:00pm. Funeral services will be conducted Monday, July 23, 2018 at 11:00 am in the funeral home. Interment: Lake Township Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to the Alzheimer's Association.
