Obituary

Martin M Bischoff 'œChief', 78 of Walbridge Ohio passed away on Wednesday, March 3, 2010 with his family by his side at Bay Park Community Hospital. He was born February 11, 1932 in Hamler, Ohio to Ernest and Edith Breece Bischoff. He married Evelyn Carpenter in Oregon Ohio in 1951. Martin cherished his children, grand-children and great grand-children and spending time with them at family get-togethers. He enjoyed fishing, Nascar, college basketball, singing and playing his guitar where country songs ruled. He loved his toys both big and small whether it was collecting lawn mowers or driving his end loader. Martin was employed by Libbey Owens Ford in Rossford as a crane operator where he was known as 'œRed' to his co-workers. He was also owner of Bischoff & Sons Trucking. Surviving are his loving wife, Evelyn of 58 years; children, Robert Bischoff of Perrysburg, James (Sandy) Bischoff of Elmore, Marge (Greg) Barker of Temperance MI, Judy Robbins of Northwood, Carol (Eric) Kramer of Toledo, Daniel (Patty) Bischoff of Waterville, Tom (Ginger) Bischoff of Rossford, Martin (Dyan) Bischoff of Maumee, Ronald (Shannon) Bischoff of Monclova, Roger (Susan) Bischoff of Bellevue WA; brothers and sisters, Emma Poulson of Toledo, Betty Cooper of Swanton, Bill Bischoff of Toledo and Frank Bischoff of Southern-Pines NC; sister-in-law, Shirley Gale of Toledo. He has 25 grandchildren and seven great grandchildren along with many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, Ernest and Edith; sister, Norma Knepper; brothers Ray and Arnold; grandchild, Jason. Family and friends will be received in the Eggleston Meinert Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 Coy Road on Saturday March 6th from 12Noon until the time of a Memorial Service at 1 PM. Private family interment was held in Lake Township Cemetery. A special thanks to Dr. Rebecca Marshall, Dr. John Feldmeier, Dr. Rekha Chaudhary and all their staff. Visitation: Saturday, 12Noon - 1:00 p.m. Services: Saturday, 1:00 p.m.
