Martin Pecina Jr., 61, of Curtice, Ohio passed away, Tuesday, February 22, 2022 at Mercy St. Anne Hospital. Marty was born in Toledo, Ohio to Martin Sr. and Celia (Martinez) Pecina. He was a roofer for Local 134. Marty was a huge Dallas Cowboy fan. Marty enjoyed spending time with his family. Surviving are his loving wife, Mercedes; children, Carlos, Martin, Jacinto, Selena, Marcos, Manuel, Michael; many grandchildren; other immediate family members, Ruperta Pecina, Flora Gonzales, Ramona Pecina, Greg Pecina, Magdaleno Pecina. Marty was preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Rick, Robert, Sonia and Virginia. Visitation will be held on Thursday February 24 from 2:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home Millbury Chapel, 1111 Woodville Road, Millbury. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, February 25, at St. Ignatius Catholic Church, 212 Stadium Road, Oregon, where the family will receive friends beginning at 10:00 am. Burial will follow in St. Ignatius Cemetery.
