Marty Wayne Cales II, 40, of Graytown, Ohio, passed away at his home on Thursday, April 30, 2026. He was born on December 19, 1985, in Toledo, Ohio, to Marty Cales and Michaele (Kalell) Cox.

Marty found joy in life's simple pleasures. He enjoyed playing Xbox, spending time fishing, taking peaceful walks in nature, and collecting rocks. He also loved watching Jeopardy! and was known for how good he was at it. Those who knew Marty will remember his sense of humor, his loyalty, and the genuine friendship he offered so freely. He had a special way of making people laugh and feel at ease, and his presence will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Left to forever cherish his memory are his mother, Michaele (Charles) Cox; his brother, Milton (Ashleigh) Perry; his nephew, Zion Perry; his niece, Evelyn Perry; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Marty was preceded in death by his father, Marty Cales, and his brother, John Thomas Rollins.

Honoring Marty's wishes, he will be cremated and laid to rest in a shared grave with his brother, Tom. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to his cousin, Charles House and friends, Robert Chestnutwood, Taylor Sweet and Melody Chestnutwood for the countless hours they spent by his side.
