Mary A. Sanford, 82, of Toledo passed away on Friday, December 17, 2004 at Harborside of Perrysburg. She was born in Toledo, Ohio on September 27, 1922 to Lawrence and Edna (Giblin) Barrett. Mary was employed as a sales manager for 41 years with the former S.S. Kresge, The Fair Store and J.C. Penney retiring in 1983. She was a member of Unity United Methodist Church and the Rebekah Lodge of Odd Fellows. Surviving are her husband of 60 years, Henry R.; niece, Marie (Luther) Samson and several other nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers, Francis, Johnny, Joseph, Larry and William Barrett and sister, Emma Nagel. Friends may call from 2-5 & 6-9 PM on Sunday with Rebekah Lodge services at 7:00 PM at the Eggleston Meinert Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road, where funeral services will be conducted on Monday at 11:00 AM. Interment will take place in Toledo Memorial Park. The family suggests memorial contributions be given to Unity United Methodist Church, Hospice of Northwest Ohio or Alzheimer's Association.
