Mary Alexo, 88, of Oregon, OH passed away Sunday, April 13, 2003 at Heartland of Oregon. She was born on May 19, 1914 to Joseph and Mary (Guylas) Alexo in Toledo, OH. Mary was a very dedicated and long time member of St. Ignatius Church where she belonged to the Altar Rosary Society. In her free time she enjoyed crocheting and humoring others with jokes. Ms. Alexo was employed for the Toledo Jeep Corp. as a secretary for many years. Mary is survived by her sister, Anne Seferian; sister-in-law, Virginia Alexo; nieces and nephews, Joseph (Sylvia) Seferian, Susan (Dan) Meis, Cheryl (Tim) Kinkaid, Michael (Regina) Seferian, Thomas (Theresa) Alexo, Anita (Dave) LaPorte, Judith (Bill) Peters, Debra, Richard (Lynn), Marc, and Monica Seferian, Cara (Mike) Saldajeno and 16 great-great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Joseph and sister, Margaret Seferian. Visitations will be held on Wednesday, April 16, 2003 from 3-9 p.m. in the Eggleston-Meinert Funeral Home, Coy Road Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road. Prayer recital will begin in the funeral home at 9:30 am on Thursday and proceed to St. Ignatius Church for 10:00 a.m. funeral services. Interment will take place at a later date in St. Ignatius Cemetery. Those wishing to make an expression of sympathy in Mary's memory are asked to consider St. Ignatius Church.
