Mary S. Bacho, 87, of Toledo and formerly a 44 year resident of Point Place, subsequently Oakleaf Village and Sunset House, passed away at Hospice of Northwest Ohio on October 14, 2008. She was born in Toledo, Ohio on October 1, 1921, to Louis and Mary (Heritz) Demeter. Mary was a graduate of Waite High School and was employed as a bookkeeper for Beauchamp & Associates. She was a life long member of Calvin UCC where she was a former choir member, Youth Group leader, Sunday school teacher, member of the Missionary Guild, the Kolbasz Makers, and member of the Fank Ladies. Mary was a member of the Red Hat Society at Oakleaf Village. Surviving is her son, Alan (Teri) Bacho; grandchildren, Hope and Blake Bacho; sister-in-law, Ida Bacho. Mary was preceded in death by her husband of 40 years, Albert; siblings, Betty, Louis and Andrew. Friends and family may visit at the Kinsey Funeral Home, Toledo Chapel, 2001 Consaul St., Toledo, OH, on Wednesday, October 15 from 2-9 p.m. with a prayer service at 7:00 p.m. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday at 11:00 a.m. in Calvin United Church of Christ, 1946 Bakewell St., Toledo, OH, where the family will greet visitors one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow in N. Oregon Cemetery.
