Obituary

Mary Jane Bahnsen was born in Toledo, Ohio on November 17, 1914, and married Ervin C. Bahnsen on April 2, 1936. She was a graduate of Clay High School in Oregon, Ohio, where she and her husband lived until Ervin Bahnsen's retirement in 1955. The Bahnsens wintered in Ellenton, Florida, where Mary Jane had been living full time since 1995. Mary Jane Bahnsen was a member of Bethany Methodist Church in Oregon, OH and was active in the Order of the Eastern Stars in Toledo. She was active in Sun Oil Company Recreation Club activities and enjoyed motor travel. She is preceded in death by her husband, Ervin Bahnsen; her parents, Amon R. and Lucy Morrison and her brother, Allyn Morrison. She is survived by niece and caregiver, Jeni Morrison Cooper of Parrish, FL; sister, Ruth Plassmeier of Evansville, IN; brother, Warren Morrison of Granbury, TX, and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 2 to 9 p.m. at the Eggleston Meinert Pavley Funeral Home Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road. Funeral service will be conducted in the funeral home on Thursday at 11:00 a.m. with visitation beginning at 10:00 until the time of service. Interment will be in Lake Township Cemetery.
